Cafe Manager

We are seeking a motivated, experienced cafe manager.

This position is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to inspire and develop a high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated strong leadership capabilities in developing, supporting, and motivating a new team

  • Build customer loyalty and handle feedback with care and professionalism

  • Monitor sales performance and manage operational budgets, control labour and stock costs, maintain supplier relationships, and review financial reports to implement strategies that improve profitability.

  • Ensure compliance with Food Control Plan requirements, Health & Safety regulations, and New Zealand employment legislation.

What you will bring:

  • Be a natural communicator and genuinely enjoy building relationships with customers

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Cafe or FOH management role

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude

  • Weekend availability is a must.

Cafe Chef

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Chef or Cook

We’re looking for someone who is organised, committed, has experience, and understands the hustle and grind.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparing and cooking dishes to high standards

  • Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment

  • Ensure food quality, presentation, and portion control.

  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.

What you will bring:

  • 2 years of proven experience as a chef, preferably at a cafe

  • Strong multitasking and organisational skills

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

  • Flexible to work rostered shifts, including early morning, weekends and public holidays
